We believe that preventative care, such as annual wellness exams, vaccines and nutritional support is the best way to ensure your pets are happy and healthy. Our preventative care services include:

- Vaccines: recommended based on a pet’s lifestyle and risk factors
- Nutritional support: providing information about different diets and recommending feeding options tailored to your pet’s needs
- Weight management support: guiding you through your pet’s weight loss journey to achieve a healthy body weight
- Studies show that a healthy body weight improves quality of life and increases life span
- Health monitoring: offering blood work and other tests to best guide preventative health decisions and detect early health changes
- Oral health: suggesting ways to keep your pet’s mouth healthy and pain-free
- Parasite prevention and treatment: this preventative care is important for your entire family! Ticks and worms can spread to humans and other animals.

Medical Care
We address health concerns through a family-centered approach to ensure that each pet is getting the best treatment plan for them. If your pet is sick, we want to support you with our medical care services including:

- Sick patient exam: a thorough physical by a veterinarian
- Testing: can include in-clinic blood work, x-rays and ultrasound
- Medical care: depending on what your pet needs, we may advise out-of-clinic care with you, in-clinic treatment with us or speciality care at a local emergency or speciality hospital

Skin Health & Allergy Support
If your pet is having skin issues, is itchy or has ear infections, they might very well have allergies and we can help! Our team can help you better understand the allergy, treat any possible infections and make your pet so much more comfortable

- All of our skin and ear appointments include a swab test to look for infection because this is one of the most important steps to best being able to help your pet. Please expect to wait up to 15 minutes for the results from this test, during your appointment.

Surgical Care
We try to make all surgeries a little less scary. From the routine spays and neuters to the more unexpected and complex surgeries, we can offer your pet high-quality anesthetic and surgical care from our highly skilled team including:

- Spays and neuter – we rely on high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter techniques to reduce the time your pet needs to be under general anesthesia
- Soft-tissue surgeries such as intestinal surgery, bladder surgery and other urgent surgeries are performed by our team. Please note that we are not specialist surgeons but we ensure that our team is ready to care for your pet to the best of our abilities
- Lump removals and other skin surgeries can be performed to make your pet more comfortable and further assess for underlying disease

Senior Pet Support
We love to support pets through their golden years and provide in-depth guidance to help you manage the changes that are to come as your pet ages. Dr. Chloe has additional training in treating senior pets and this is a passion of hers. To ensure a thorough senior pet wellness visit we:

- Offer slightly longer appointment times (40 mins)
- Perform an in-depth physical exam, prioritizing areas that most often affect senior pets (ex. mobility, muscle mass, chronic pain, oral health)
- Set up the exam room specifically to help ensure your senior pet is comfortable with non-slip mats and a calm environment

Dental Care
We understand that a healthy, pain-free mouth leads to a happy pet. Over 50% of pets have periodontal disease. Bad breath is one of the most common indicators of this! To best help your pet, our dental care includes:

- A full dental exam: a trained team member will assess your pet’s mouth and teeth
- An initial oral assessment under general anesthesia: at this time, full-mouth dental x-rays will be taken, all the teeth and gums will be assessed and a veterinarian will make recommendations for next steps. We will recommend that all painful and diseased teeth be removed.

Pet Behaviour Support
Your pet’s behaviour impacts your family daily and we want to provide the support and guidance that your family might need when it comes to managing unwanted behaviours, training your new puppy or ensuring that your pet is living a fulfilled and enriched life.
Our goal is for you and your pet to have a compassionate partnership and we know pet behaviour plays a huge part in this. If our vet staff can’t help, we will recommend trusted professionals who might be able to! All recommended professionals use positive-reinforcement techniques only which are proven to be the most effective and safest training techniques for all pets.
